About the AVC Cup 2026 volleyball tournament
The 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Cup will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines, featuring 12 top Asian teams including Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Taiwan (China), and Hong Kong (China). This is considered one of the most important continental women's volleyball tournaments of the year, where teams have the opportunity to assert their position and prepare for larger international competitions in the future.
According to the competition format, the 12 teams are divided into 2 groups. Group A consists of Philippines, Taiwan (China), South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Group B consists of Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), and Lebanon. The teams play a single round-robin to accumulate points, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. The remaining teams will enter classification matches for positions 5 through 12.
