About the AVC Cup 2026 Volleyball Tournament
The 2026 AVC Women’s Volleyball Cup will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines, featuring 12 top Asian teams: Vietnam, the Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong (China). This is considered one of the most important women’s volleyball tournaments in Asia this year, where teams have the opportunity to assert their standing and prepare for bigger international competitions in the future.
According to the competition format, the 12 teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of the Philippines, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Group B includes Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), and Lebanon. Teams play a single round-robin to earn points, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals. The remaining teams will enter classification matches for positions 5 through 12.
