About the AVC Cup 2026 Volleyball Tournament
The 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Cup will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines, featuring 12 top Asian teams including Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong (China). This is regarded as one of the most important women's volleyball tournaments on the continent this year, where teams have the opportunity to assert their status and prepare for larger international competitions in the future.
According to the competition format, the 12 teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of the Philippines, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Group B includes Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), and Lebanon. The teams play a single round-robin format to earn points, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. The remaining teams will enter classification matches to determine positions from 5th to 12th.
