The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has finalized its 14-player squad for the 2026 Asian Championship, which will take place in Tianjin, China, from August 21 to 30. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet returns to the helm after temporarily handing over leadership during the second leg of the 2026 SEA V.Cup, with a core of many familiar key players.
A notable point is that Thanh Thuy continues to be a crucial cornerstone in the lineup, alongside Bich Thuy, Kim Thoa, and Khanh Dang. Interspersed with this experienced core are young faces such as Pham Quynh Huong, Bui Thi Anh Thao, and Le Nhu Anh, providing additional options for Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet in a high-intensity tournament.

According to the Asian Volleyball Confederation's draw, the 12 teams are divided into three groups. The weight of the tournament also lies in the highly valuable international berths at stake. The champion will earn a direct ticket to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, while the top three teams will secure spots at the 2027 World Championship.
